A new coffee from Guatemala from a region we love.  El Destello is located just outside the small city of San Miguel Dueñas, which itself is about a half hour outside the colonial city of Antigua.  Coffees from this region are known for their sweetness and consistency, and this offering, from producer Luis Sagche, is no exception.

Growing Bourbon variety coffee, Luis and his parents specifically focus on cultivating a high quality product.  We're getting plenty of rich, red fruit with a lasting, cola-like sweetness that we're roasted to bring out a semisweet chocolate finish.
