

Profile: Smooth & Crisp with a Hint of Fruit
Cruel Summer is based on a black tea grown on the bio-organic Iyerpadi Estate in South India. By itself, it delivers a smooth and malty cup with a touch of natural sweetness.
To make Cruel Summer, we blended Iyerpadi with black teas from Sri Lanka for brightness and Yunnan to broaden the flavor with spice and citrus and to fill out the body. The final component is a smooth black tea flavored with lychee that gives the finished blend a little fruit sweetness.
Cruel Summer tastes good hot but it really comes alive when cooled down and served over ice.
We recommend brewing 1g of tea in 2oz of water at 210° for 4 minutes.
