Winter Morning is our seasonal blend of nuanced, rare black teas. We offer it as a way to celebrate the changing of seasons, close out the year, and welcome the new one. And just like each year is different from the last, Winter Morning is too.

This tea is subtle and smooth, with oolong-esque fruit character that transitions and blooms into chocolate malt, with a long, lingering spicy finish.
This year’s tea features Golden Monkey, a beloved Fujian tea known for soft mouthfeel and flavors of malt and cocoa. This lot also shows raisin and mandarin. We combined it with an early harvest Keemun Mao Feng with spicy and tart fruit notes, and the rare Yao Qing Hua Xiang “Fresh Fragrance”, which has a remarkable stone fruit sweetness.
We recommend brewing 1g of tea in 2oz of water at 210° for 4 minutes
