Our newest Honduran coffee is a limited offering from Benjamin Paz's farm, La Orquidea.
Located just outside the community of El Cedral, these Pacas variety coffee cherries are grown at elevations touching 1600 meters. Nearby Lake Yojoa creates fog at the higher elevations, slowing maturation of the coffee throughout the growing season.
This late-harvest coffee has a depth of character that's hard to capture in only a few words. The sweetness is both floral and heavy, with characteristics of raw sugar care and wildflower honey. The acidity is juicy and satisfying, balancing well with the caramel notes from the roast we have developed.
There's only five bags of this coffee for us to work with, so check out this gem while you can!
