We're serving up a delicious new coffee from a producer named Nelida Garcia Togas. Nelida, a single mother of four kids, is one of the top producers of the area. She grows the Caturra and Typica variety coffees outside the community of Chaupe Alto, in the Piura region of Peru, just to the south of the border with Ecuador.

This is our first Peruvian single-origin coffee of this year. We've roasted it to express its rich flavors of cashew, cherry, and cocoa. It creates a sweet cup of coffee with fruity and nutty aromas.
