Description
While Highwire's café spaces extend across the East Bay, from Alameda to Albany and Berkeley to Walnut Creek, Highwire was truly created in Oakland. Few landmarks and images of Downtown Oakland are as indelible as the Tribune Tower and De Lauer's Newsstand. As characteristic of Downtown as the Grand Lake Theater or Lake Merritt is of the city as a whole, The Tribune building and De Lauer's are hallmarks of the history of Downtown Oakland and of Highwire's origins. Our Downtown Oakland café sits proudly within view of both landmarks. We use the name Newsstand as a nod to this piece of our shared history.
This heavyweight long-sleeve shirt is ideal for braving the many microclimates around the East Bay and is a true three-season garment. The relaxed fit makes it perfect for layering over a lighter garment or under a flannel or jacket. The Highwire Repeat pattern is printed down each sleeve in white. The left, front chest panel combines the Highwire primary mark, stacked with the Shadow Play logo to create a bold and attention-grabbing look.
Sizes SM - XL available in most Highwire locations. Sizes XS, 2X, and 3X available in limited quantities for online or special order only.
