Bourbon was the name of an island that became famous in the 1800's as the source of the finest vanilla beans in the world. Bourbon Vanilla is the name now used for vanilla beans grown in Madagascar and other islands in the Indian Ocean, including the island of Reunion, formerly known as Bourbon.
To create our Bourbon Vanilla tea blend, we began with a Congou tea, known for its approachable smoothness. When this tea is layered with Bourbon Vanilla, the result is a delicious, soothing treat with sweet aromatics.
To brew Bourbon Vanilla tea, we recommend 2 oz of 210° water for every 2 g of tea. Brew for 4 minutes, then kick back and enjoy.
