To make our signature iced tea blend, Cruel Summer, we started with a black tea grown on the bio-organic Iyerpadi Estate in South India. By itself, this Iyerpadi delivers a smooth and malty cup with a touch of natural sweetness, the perfect base for our iced tea blend. To fill out Cruel Summer's body, to add brightness, and to broaden the flavor profile with spice and citrus we then blended the Iyerpadi with black teas from Sri Lanka and Yunnan. The final component is a smooth black tea flavored with lychee that gives the finished blend its signature fruit sweetness. 

Cruel Summer is our signature iced tea blend and really comes alive when cooled down and served over ice. Feel free to drink it hot, if that's your thing. We won't judge.

To brew Cruel Summer iced tea, we recommend using 2 oz of 210° water for each gram of tea and brewing for 4 minutes. Let it chill, then serve over ice and enjoy.
