This is our second year offering this very special coffee from Bolivia, produced by 23-year-old university student and coffee professional, Yulissa Chambi.  

Yulissa's family has been growing coffee in the Yungas region of Bolivia for over 50 years. During the pandemic, Yulissa, along with the help of her brother Felix Chambi, planted a new generation of Catuai varierty coffee on their 10-acre farm.  Using novel fermentation techniques to coax incredible flavors from the coffee, Yulissa offers this washed version of her coffee, as well as this natural.

This is not your typical natural! Though there are certainly some deeper fruit tones, we're getting a pleasant tartness in the flavor, akin to pomegranate, with citrus, over a layer of cocoa.
